CD-Rom: RHS Plant Finder

Intended for gardeners, horticultural professionals and botanists this CD-ROM combines an electronic version of the “RHS Plant Finder” with six other gardening and horticultural databases. The main section is a guide to 70,000 plants and their suppliers. This information is enhanced by the “RHS Good Plant Guide”, an illustrated plant selector featuring over 1000 photographs and five further databases – the Award of Garden Merit Plants, The Lexicon of Latin Names, A Dictionary of Common Names, a list of Garden Societies and details of National Trust and other gardens open to the public. Included are addresses, telephone and fax numbers, email addresses, opening times, location maps and mail order details for each nursery. Cross reference tables aim to help the reader find the plant of their choice at a nursery nearby.
