Hybrid and Combined Processes for Air Pollution Control: Methodologies, Mechanisms and Effect of Key Parameters provides an exhaustive inventory of the hybrid and combined processes in the field of air treatment. It handles the principles, the effect of key parameters, technologies and reactors of the processes and its implementation from lab-scale to industrial scale and identifies future trends in the field. Hybrid and Combined Processes for Air Pollution Control: Methodologies, Mechanisms and Effect of Key Parameters starts with an introduction of the basics about air pollutants and their respective effects on the environment and living beings. Then the book identifies novel techniques and innovations across the field, compares them and offers a thorough assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of each techniques and innovation. In this well-structured book the chapters are linked to the type of treatment: a significant part deals with the treatment by transfer processes: (absorption and absorption) and the rest focuses on destruction treatments such as advanced oxidation processes.
