The proposed book gives details of most recent advances for the conservation and transformation of priority plant species. It explores biotechnological interventions and advancements in medicinal plant diversity analysis, transformation and conservation. It presents compendium of topics related to conservation for sustainable utilization of important medicinal and aromatic plants, genetic engineering tools for plant transformation, and transgenics for improved traits in the medicinally active plant species. It will be helpful to researchers, and academicians involved in medicinal plant conservation and diversity studies, sustainable plant production, transgenic plants, molecular biology, plant biotechnology, and plant pharmaceutics.
