This very scarce book is an abbreviated version of British Wild Flowers which doesn’t describe all the species, only a representative example, usually the most common species, whereupon it describes the orders then describes the genera for each. The plates are new with the flowers often being redrawn a little larger, sometimes accompanied by drawings of their seeds or flowers, which don’t appear in the plates of the larger British Wild Flowers.
