Rebound some time ago in purple cloth, faded to light brown on spine and the edges of the boards; gilt spine title; later white endpapers. Bindings solid. Attractive bookplate to front pastedown. Internally crisp and clean with very little age-toning or foxing. This appears to have been rebound from a previously untrimmed textblock which was then trimmed to give crisp edges, however a very small number of untrimmed edges remain, where those leaves where narrower than the later cut, adding some aesthetic interest to this volume.
