Author Biography

Presently, Dr. Sourav Das is an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Chemistry at Brainware University, Kolkata, India. He has completed his doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. His research interests include water quality monitoring, environmental pollution, biogeochemistry of marine and coastal water, and optical properties of water (inherent & apparent optical properties). He has more than fourteen (14) years of research and teaching experience. He has published more than 60 research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals including three (03) edited book volumes (Springer Nature) and one (01) authored book. Moreover, he has contributed more than twenty-five (25) peer-reviewed book chapters. He has more than 500 citations and 13 h-index.
