Brown cloth boards with gilt titles; lightly bumped and marked only. Internally very crisp, clean and bright with the exception of some foxing to the prelims, the index and the outside edges of the textblock; the rest of the textblock has just the occasional spot. Includes all 14 stunning colour plates by Webster and Ross-Craig which remain very crisp and bright, though the frontispiece has become detached; a colour folding map at the rear which has a little foxing; and, the large glossary bookmark on green ribbon, again crisp and bright but with a few spot of foxing.
