This is the the fourth of five volumes on the large and diverse Rosaceae family. Genera included in volume 16: Cydonia, Chaenomeles, Pyrus, Malus, Eriobotrya, Sorbaronia, Amelanchier, Cotoneaster, Crataegus, Prunus. The genus Sorbus is not included and will be treated separately in a special volume.
Written in English, botanists throughout Europe were involved in producing this detailed atlas.
