Author Biography

Alice Sun is a visual storyteller and writer based on the west coast of Canada. With a background in environmental biology and visual communication, she uses her skills in photography, writing, and design to share wildlife stories and communicate scientific research. She is a Girls Who Click ambassador and was featured by the Audubon Society as one of their best #birdstagram Instagramers of 2021. Her hope is that her work will help bridge the gap between science and the public, and reconnect people with the natural world. Explore her work at www.alicesun.ca. Jared Lee is an accomplished illustrator with experience working for the likes of L.L. Bean, Procter & Gamble, Hasbro, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, and the U.S. Postal Service. He received a BFA degree from the John Herron Art Institute. He currently resides in Lebanon, Ohio.
