Birds of Ceredigion contains a wealth of information on the history, distribution and records of birds in the county, while the introductory chapters provide a concise description of the Ceredigion landscape, different bird -habitats and the progress of nature conservation there. It is copiously illustrated with numerous figures, and graphs of both the present occurrence and changing status of the county avifauna. The photographs, provided by local photographers and selected by the photographic editor Prof. Michael Hayward, exemplify the great diversity of habitats and bird species in the county.
The authors were previously county bird recorders and this book reflects their in-depth knowledge of the occurrence and distribution of Ceredigion bird life.
