Blips Macro Kit Metal Series (includes Macro and Macro Plus lenses)

Blips are mini objective lenses incorporated on a flexible strip, designed to attach directly to your mobile phone in a novel facile manner.

They offer a simple and easy to use system, bridging the gap between the macro and micro world without the need of either a hand lens or a low resolution microscope, and with the additional benefit that the accompanying free downloadable software enables you to view/manipulate and edit captured images/videos on your phone.

Several lenses are available with magnifications between approximately x 5 and x 45. Lenses can be purchased either singly, or as a kit  of 2 or more lenses. A Labkit is also available which includes several lenses and other components for using using your phone like a microscope.

The Blips Macro Kit Metal Series

• Includes two lenses, one Macro and one Macro Plus.
• Optical magnification of the Macro Plus lens is about 5-8x (depending on phone model) without the use of additional digital zoom
• Optical magnification of the Macro lens is about 8-15x times with the same provisos as above.
• Both lenses are extremely thin, less than 1 mm (≈1/25 inches), allowing you to take crystal clear pictures of insects, flowers, small objects, details of everyday life.
• The working distance, i.e. the distance between the lens and the focal plane, is approximately 20 mm (≈¾ inch) for the Macro Plus lens and approximately 12mm (≈1/2 inch) for the Macro lens
• This kit is the Metal version, designed to be robust. Simply position a Blips lens onto your smartphone and open the app.
• Ideal for use in the field.
• Spare re-useable adhesive strip included
