Canals, plants and people: a Yorkshire perspective

This book introduces water plants in the context of Yorkshire canals and provides a record of the plants to be found. The impacts of boating canal plants, both favourable and unfavourable, are addressed. The effects of loss of navigation and dereliction of canals on plant and vegetation are considered, as are the effects of canal restoration.
