Carex d’Auvergne

Carex D’Auvergne covers all 66 species of Carex (a genus of grassy plants in the family Cyperaceae, commonly known as sedges) found in Auvergne, France. Habitat keys and illustrations are included to allow identification. For each species notes on morphology, ecology, biology, and their distribution in Auvergne are given, as well as notes on confusing species. The drawings also show the root architecture.
