Edible Plants by Geoff Dann will be the most comprehensive colour-illustrated guide to foraging for plants and seaweeds in north-west Europe ever published. It covers everything you need to know about every edible species worth knowing about. As well as wild species it includes edible ornamentals – increasing the repertoire of the urban forager – and every important poisonous species. In total it covers over 400 plants, seaweeds, lichens and cyanobacteria.

The book is suitable for beginners as well as advanced foragers, with beautiful photos that aid practical identification, clear symbols for caution and danger, and colour-coded page edges for easy reference. It has thread-sewn binding, in anticipation of extensive usage.
