Flora de la República de Cuba, Series A: Plantas Vasculares, Fascículo 21 (2-Volume Set): Poaceae II: Pharoideae a Chloridoideae.

This volume completes the treatment of Poaceae within the Flora de la República de Cuba series. It covers Pharoiodeae, Bambusoideae, Oryzoideae, Pooideae, Arundinoideae, Micrairoideae, Aristoideae, Chloridoideae. The plates will be reproduced in full color, similar to the first half of the Poaceae treatment. A total of approximately 43 genera and 130 species are dealt with in this volume. In Spanish.

Although still a work in progress, the new flora of Cuba, Flora de la República de Cuba, Series A, Plantas Vasculares, completely updates and revises the previous flora, Flora de Cuba, by León and Alain (1946-1963). This newly revised flora now includes the ferns and lycophytes. Each genus is illustrated, usually with more than one species illustrated. Keys, specimens examined, and distribution maps are provided. There are >11,000 species of plants of which more than half are endemic.
