Internally crisp and bright apart from the untrimmed fore edge, light foxing only affecting prelims and index, attractive bookplate of Johann Dim to front pastedown, gift inscription dated 1909 to half title-page, ex-libris botanist and author Clive Stace with occasional annotations in his hand and underlinings throughout the text.
