Author Biography

Dr. João Paulo Rodrigues Marques holds a bachelor in Biological Science, a Master’s and PhD degree in Plant Biochemistry and Physiology. His work is focused on plant histopathology, ultrastructure, and histochemistry of sweet orange, sugarcane, grapevine, coffee diseases and other Brazilian crops. Dr. Marques has authored several papers focused on plant tissue responses against pathogens. Msc. Marli Kasue Misaki Soares is holds a bachelor in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Plant Biochemistry and Physiology. She has been an specialist in plant anatomy techniques for three decades focusing on Vegetal Anatomy, acting on the following subjects: anatomy, histology, root leaf, stem, histochemistry and electron microscopy.
