The third edition of this well known Synopsis title is an updated work covering all 25 species known from the wild in the UK, 2 more than in the second edition.

Harvestmen identification is helped by keys, illustrations and distribution information. The distribution date has been updated to incorporate distribution maps prepared at the Biological Records Centre in April and May 2005.
