Dr. Pervez Alam is presently Assistant Professor, Coordinator of the Department of Civil Engineering and Chief Proctor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, J & K, India. He is life member of the Institution of Engineers, India and the Acoustic Society of India. He graduated in civil engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and post-graduated in environmental engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He obtained his PhD (environmental engineering) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Dr. Alam has 12 years of research and teaching experience. He has published more than 35 papers in national/international journals and conferences. He has more than 800 citations of his research work with H-index 11 and I10-index 10. Dr. Alam is Casual Reviewer of more than 10 reputed international journals of environmental science and engineering and editor of three journals including Frontier in Materials IF-3.9 and PLOS One IF-3.7. He has provided consultancies in different areas of environmental engineering, such as noise modeling and mapping, EIA, Design of STPs/ETPs, etc. Dr. Afzal Husain Khan works in the Civil and Architectural Engineering Department at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, and BE and MTech degrees from the Aligarh Muslim University, India. He is an academic editor of PLOS One, Advances in Civil Engineering (Wiley), Associate Editor in TEIEE, and Guest Editor in Elsevier/Springer/Frontiers journals. Dr. Khan has 13 years of teaching and experience in water and wastewater treatment. He has been involved in many funded projects under the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR) in Saudi Arabia. He has 90+ peer-reviewed publications (h-index >35; >3500+ citations), four books (edited), six patents, and five book chapters to his credit. Dr. Juliana Heloisa Pinê Américo-Pinheiro has a degree in biological sciences from the Faculty of Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Ilha Solteira – SP, Brazil; a Master's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on water resources and environmental technologies from UNESP; and a Specialist in environmental management at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Piracicaba – SP, Brazil. She obtained her PhD in aquatic biology from the Center for Aquaculture at UNESP, Jaboticabal – SP, Brazil and a Post-Doctorate in civil engineering from UNESP. She is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Forest Science, Soils and Environment at the School of Agronomic Sciences at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Botucatu – SP, Brazil; Permanent Professor at the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering at UNESP; and Full Professor at the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences at Brazil University (UB). Dr. Juliana has 9 years of experience in teaching and research and as International Consultant at the Society for Green Environment (India). She is the leader of the research groups "Hydrology, Water Quality and Management of Hydrographic Basins" and "Water Resources, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Technologies" of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) of Brazil. She has published more than 145 manuscripts in national and international specialized journals, and has published 43 books and 40 chapters in national and international publishers. She has more than 1,187 citations of her research papers and H-index = 21. She serves as a reviewer for more than 20 international and national journals. In her professional activities she interacted with more than 190 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works. Dr. Kafeel Ahmad is presently Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Honorary Director (Research), Jamia Millia Islamia. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (FIE), India and Chartered Engineer (CE) India. He graduated in civil engineering and post-graduated in environmental and water resources engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He obtained his PhD (environmental engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Dr. Ahmad has 29 years of research and teaching experience. He has supervised seven PhD theses and 37 MTech dissertations. He has published 112 papers in national/international journals and conferences. He has 3856 citations of his research work with H-index 21. Dr. Ahmad is Casual Reviewer of more than 55 reputed international journals of environmental science and engineering. He has also specially designed and authored a book on environmental science and engineering for competitive examinations. He has provided consultancies in different areas of environmental engineering, such as design of ETPs/STPs, development of solid waste management plan and air quality modeling, as well as efficacy and adequacy of ETP/STP/ECS/Air Pollution Control Systems etc.
