Jemima’s book, written with vast authority, takes the subject of falconry further than ever before. She explains some of the motives behind the sport, the background to captive breeding, and shows how to care for birds of prey in sickness and in health. In her passionate, uncompromising way she also provides down-to-earth guidance on preventative medicine, rehabilitation of injured wild birds, falconry law and the vital topic of conservation. Following in the footsteps of her famous father, Philip Glasier, Jemima is unrivalled in her dedication to the sport of falconry and the care and conservation of birds of prey. Her enthusiasm and knowledge shine through on every page of this book.
