An early reprint of the 1909 1st edition with decorative red cloth boards. Internally, most of the textblock remains crisp, clean and bright, including the colour plates, with little age toning, however some of the tissue guards and their adjacent page are more heavily toned. The same goes for foxing, which there is none or little of for most of the textblock but some areas, especially near the plates, have a little more foxing, though it is still relatively light. Hinges cracked; rear board holding well but front board beginning to become fragile. Spine faded but titles still perfectly clear. Top rear outside corner has been bumped sufficiently to crack the board near the corner.
