A new flora of all the wild plants present in the Armorican Massif , that is to say Brittany, Lower Normandy, the Pays de la Loire, and the department of Deux-Sèvres, i.e. more than 2500 species .

The book describes the geographical and ecological characteristics of the territory through the main types of vegetation present in the region. For each of the plant species there is a short monograph which includes a description, flowering period, ecology and distribution. The species distribution maps were produced in collaboration with the Brest CBN and the Sud-Atlantique CBN.

Author Biography

Botanist and director of a study office in ecology, Vincent Guillemot has been passionate about botany since his studies at the University. To produce this work, he traveled the West of France with his camera for 15 years. Referent of the CBN of Brest for the department of Ile et Vilaine since 2009, he validates the field data transmitted by the botanists and publishes the report of the botanical discoveries in the interregional magazine of the Armorican Massif ERICA.
