With this work, the National Botanical Conservatory of Brest and its partners offer a fresh perspective on an area in northern France known for it’s rich flora.
The Atlas of the Flora of Maine-et-Loire present the first synthesis of cartographic knowledge of flowering plants and ferns of Anjou and covers more than 2200 different taxa reported since the late eighteenth century.
The result of a remarkable work of inventory conducted for twenty years especially since 2010, with the assistance of hundreds of observers and a dozen nature groups, whichbrings together nearly 650,000 current or former observations The Atlas of the Flora of Maine-et-Loire course is intended for specialists in botany, but also for people passionate about nature and all those who care about wild flora, landscapes and their evolution. This book is part of the collection “Atlas of floristic Pays de la Loire ” and completes the coverage of the region.
