Lichens of St Helena

A total of 225 species of lichen are currently known from St Helena, some of which dominate large areas of dry coastal hillside, yet this is the first treatment of a rich assemblage. The comprehensive technical keys are necessary for the more difficult genera, but brief field notes are given on all species and 220 are illustrated with photos.
