This book is written keeping in mind the requirements of botanists, pharmaceutical chemists, pharmaceutical industry, biotechnologists, microbiologists, and specialists working on plant biotechnology. This book offers an essential guide and a systematic reference for the development of medicinal product with the help of biotechnology from natural products. This is the single book that acts as textbook as well as reference books for students/teachers/scientists working in medicinal plant biotechnology. Moreover, in context of wide piece search for, although reference books are available but none of them seem to contribute sustenance to the need of material on Medicinal Plant Biotechnology. This book features contributions from world-renowned experts in the field of biotechnology, pharmaceutical biology, pharmacognosy, chemistry and pharmaceutical biotechnology. Features: Based on comprehensive investigation, though different books are existing on medicinal plant biotechnology yet there is no book available which explicitly explains the role of plant biotechnology from basics to implementation. This book will give a bare essential evidence and information for all specialists overseeing supportive biotechnology and their utility. This book will be an indispensable fountain of information for doctors, biotechnologist, pharmaceutics, academicians, masters and undergraduates working on medicinal plant biotechnology for their better utility. Although books are available on Plant Biotechnology but none of them relates to the subject from basic to application aspects. Further, it discusses about the fundamental techniques in biotechnology and relates them to the implementation to medicinal plant. This book has been designed keeping in mind the needs of graduate students to researchers, academicians and future entrepreneurs.
