Produced annually this reference work is widely used by amateur and professional gardeners as well as garden and landscape designers.
This 2020 edition of the RHS Plant Finder features over 81,000 plants (3,300 new ones in this edition). New to this edition, are two new features on this year’s best plants, and plants for pollinators.
The book is divided into several sections
Part 1 provides general information on how to use the guide
Part II is the main section and is essentially a directory for locating suppliers of named plants.
Part III is a directory of fruit offered by nurseries participating in RHS Plant Finder 2019 that have been awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM). It does not represent a complete list of AGM fruit. It includes short descriptions and hardiness ratings.
Part IV is a directory of vegetables identical in format to Part III
Part V is a list of plants that attract pollinators (i.e. sources of pollen and nectar)
Part VI is a directory of nurseries (over 530) with contact details, maps, websites and mail order information.
Please note – this is essentially a directory for locating nurseries that supply named plants. It is not a photo guide and doesn’t give descriptions in the main sections, or cultivation details.
