Contemporary full tan leather with 5 spine bands, maroon leather title label and gilt tooling, though much of this has worn off. Boards sun faded in parts and much chipping and wear to top and bottom of spine. Front board almost detached. Attractive bookplate & pencil notes to FFEP. Title page + p. i detached but present. Lacks frontispiece (engraved portrait). Internally very crisp and clean. Overall Fair. Photos available on request. Scarce. Would make a good conservation / rebinding project.
