Svensk Fältflora

This 2021 edition of Svensk fältflora, is an updated and fully revised edition of Bo Mossberg and Lennart Stenberg’s classic pocket sized field guide, which was last revised in 2018. The book is based on the larger revised Nordens Flora (2018). It covers over 1000 different plants, which are described in detail.  As with the larger Nordens Flora the quality of the illustration is exceptional. Complementing the fine watercolour illustrations, are concise and accurate desciptions and current distribution maps. There is also a simple key.

All names of species, subspecies, genera and families are based on current taxonomy, reflecting the latest DNA findings and revised plant family relationships. Everything has been reviewed and updated, most of the publications have received a new layout and species have been moved around according to the new system. The maps are also new and taken from the revised Nordens Flora. The illustrations were most often made in the natural environment of the plants.

The book is suitable for beginners, as well as students and more knowledgeable botanists.
