The Birds of Suffolk looks at the avifauna of Suffolk – one of the most important birding counties in England due to its nationally important wetlands and heathlands. As well as supporting a superb range of breeding and wintering species, Suffolk has an impressive record for attracting rarities. The Birds of Suffolk covers Suffolk’s history, geology, climate and ecology, and examines in detail the status of species on the Suffolk list.
