Green cloth octavos (6×9 inches) with gilt spine and cover titles in a decorative font plus gilt spine and cover floral motif; all edges gilt. Bumping and wear to extremities; hinges all fine; wear to joints of volume 1; uniform brown liquid splashes to spines, occasionally going over onto boards, almost blending in. Contents of vol. 1 shocked, vol. 3 starting, vol. 2 sound: vols 1 & 3 have a few separated leaves with a few starting to loosen. In general, crisp, clean and bright with occasional light foxing; very occasional light pencil marks. Contains ownership inscription dated 1927. Vol. 1: x + 256pp.; vol. 2: xviii + 247pp.; vol. 3: xxv + 251pp. Overall Good. Photos available on request.
