Clean, tight first edition, bound in green buckram cloth with gilt title on spine.and library stamp to front. Dust jacket is rather grubby with small chips front and back plus 2 small tears to front cover but is complete.
Monograph on the only member of the weaver family to naturally colonize the Northern temperate zone. A colour frontispiece, 32 photos and 36 text figures.
